beer spilled on Inspiron 5100 keyboard, need help

someone spilled beer on my Inspiron 5100 laptop and some of the keys no longer work, and it has been a few months now and they still don't work. will ordering a new keyboard online from ebay to replace the current one help or no...i ask because i assume the new keyboard is just the keys, but how would they work if the current keys don't work when you press them...any feedback would be appreciated thanks

it is the whole keyboard. You remove the old keyboard, and put the new one in its place.
 
Good to know. I'm surprised the beer didn't get down into the rest of the laptop and screw up something in its innards but I guess you knew it was fine except for the keys.
