:beer;'s all around

Never thought it would come to pass.

Saturday: usual ERGing with my last 500m @ 1:33😀 (new record...woohoo!)
Sunday: light jog (~2.5mile@ 10min/mile)
yesterday: usual ERGing with my last 500m @ 1:39😀
(I usually ERG between 4500-6000m)
today: Ran 3 miles @10min/mil non-stop and wasn't even that tired when I was done.😀 (new record...woohoo!)

I guess the important thing is that I've never actually run that far non-stop (ever). My breathing has always been my crutch and I think I am getting the hang of it😀 I was actually going at ~60-70% of my max during the last straightaway too😀

Also, my pants were almost falling down all day today😱

<--needs ANOTHER new belt (just bought one 2 weeks ago and it's already too big😀)

*proceeds to celebrate with some Haggen Dazs:evil:*

still consider myself a jelly donut...got a long way to go...I want to run an actual race this year (5k or 10k)

Cool. I'm sure you'll make it if you are conscious of what you're eating.
I myself lost 55 lbs strictly by dieting and running every other day. I went from 220 to 165.

I just started exercising last week. Been biking for 1 1/2 - 2 hrs each day. I added some sit-ups and push-ups today. I am slowly going to add small bits to the routine, otherwise, I know I would quit if I started everything at the same time. Already started loosing a good amount. I am now at 211 lbs. My goal is to get under 200 lbs. Was 230ish a few months back.

wow.

<---horrible horrible diet🙁

If I remember correctly, you played soccer right. I find it hard to believe you haven't run 3 miles non stop. I remember for high school varsity soccer, during summer training we had to run 3 miles @ 8.5 mins. or less a mile everyday.

None-the-less

I know I know...I mean in my personal life...having the coach crack his whip is something entirely different for me.

This was 3miles I ran willingly😀

I hear ya. I've improved my diet quite a bit and done some exercising and since January have gone from 247 to 212. I still have another ~37lbs to go. Have one hell of a flat tire.

That's great dude.

I've lost 45lbs since feb myself by doing something similar (from ~38 waist to 32 currently). My routine isn't as cardio intensive though. I run 2.2 miles every day with a couple of rest stops during the run. I've been getting great results from weight training in combination with my running though. I've found that the only real secret is to keep it up. Make that workout as integral a part of your day as brushing your teeth and showering so that skipping it is simply out of the question.

Good job. If you're able to run and keep your breathing steady with a whistle in your mouth, you're halfway there.

It's going to be tough but you have to watch yourself and keep tabs of what you eat. Make sure that you note it down and count the calories. There are a lot of websites that help you track stuff you eat and keep tabs on your consumption. Make sure that you are eating less than 2000 every day.
I'll tell you a secret. Whenever you feel hungry between meals, grab a handful of mixed trail nuts or just some almonds. Not only are they good for you, they take your hunger away immediately.
