Beer Recommendation

I am looking to try some new beers. Would like some suggestions.

So far, Shiner Bock seems to be my favorite while I like Blue Moon as well.

Any recommendations?

New Belgium Mothership Wit is one of the better wit styles widely available.
They also make a 1554 ale that's great.

Just look for the New Belgian sampler pack to get both of those and a few others and see what you think. 🙂

I'm going to confine my suggestions to 6 packs that come in at or under under $10 and are readily available here in Michigan, YMMV.

Pete's Wicked Ale
Just about any of the cheaper stuff from Darkhorse, Goose Island, or Dogfish Head breweries.

btw-my beer guy tells me the 2010 Goose Island Bourbon County is coming in this week ($$$), the nectar of the gods I tell you.

That stuff is supposed to be amazing. It's going to retail for $48 a pint around here from what I've heard. I want to try one, but that's damn expensive for something that won't get me drunk lol.

It's all about a good ale, but the tastes are so subjective it's almost impossible to recommend one, if you try some London's Pride, that's a favourite of mine, but I think you can only get it near me, my advice is go to a beer festival and try some if you can, also if you see a bottle of beer that has the word "Light" on it, turn and walk in the opposite direction.

London Pride is Fullers right? We can get that here on this side of the pond. I love the London Porter. Great beer...kinda pricey over here though. Around $10 per 6 pack.

It could be, I'm not so good with breweries. Yeah when I was in america I saw how expensive ales were.... Most unfortunate, one night I got stuck with a Miller "High Life" how they get away with calling it High life, I have no idea. Also you can't wack a nice pint o' Guinness, that being said it does not taste right over your side of the pond.

Pick any of these....

Except the Landshark and Corona...I had to buy those at the request of some pussies.

Yeah I agree with most of that, Sam Adams beer is probably the best drink america makes!.

I still have a pint from last year. If I remember correctly it was $25. Oh Jeez I'll be peeling the price tag off that before the wife sees it.
