All regions seem to have their own rules when it comes to beer pong, maybe some of you guys have some I haven't heard before?

I play:
10 balls
All cups stay on the board until both players have shot (no pulls)
Both players making any cup = balls back
Both players making the same cup = 3 cups (drinking team chooses but must use the one shot in)
Bounce shot into cup = 2 cups (balls can be swat once they hit any surface)
Reracks on 6,4,3,2
Losing team gets rebuttal (both players shoot until miss)
If rebuttal is hit, then 3 cup overtime with half full cups.

+Also, NBA JAM rules. Two cups in a row = heating up, three in a row = on fire (keep shooting till you miss)

Rules:
10 cups
Balls back if both players make it.
Only Bitches Bounce - 2 cups if a girl makes a bounce
Re-rack @ 6 and 3

Rebuttal rules are the same for me.

6 cups
Both players make in same cup = balls back
Can swat ball after one bounce
Re-rack at 3

I think that's it. It's been years since I've played.

EDIT: Scratch that, I meant 10 cups. Re-rack at 6 and 3.

10 Cups
Balls back if both made
Bounce is two cups
Two balls in one cup = Death Cup = Game Over = Losing Team drinks all beer
Two re-racks, whenever you want them

Rebuttal is same as above.

10 cups
Bounce = 2 cups
Roll back if both players make it
Rerack - varies per game, usually 2 per game max at any time at the start of a turn
If I play with cups stay until all shots are made (before rollbacks), and 2 balls land in the same cup, it's drink at least 2 of the cups. Don't always play with this one
Losing team gets a rebuttal and can push it into 6 cup overtime (or 3 cup depending on time constraints for the table)

6 cups
you take the cup right when someone makes it into it ("pulls"? lol)
if both people make a cup, you get balls back (game over if 2 cups left, sometimes not though)
one rerack per game (diamond, line, etc) + courtesy reracks
if the ball bounces off a cup and you grab it back (on table) you can take a rebound shot, sometimes behind the back sometimes with left hand
if someone is holding a cup and didnt finish it and you drain it in it, game over
you can finger the ball if its spinning around (before hits beer)

YOU GET SHUT OUT...
YOU'RE DOING A NAKED LAP haha

some times we do heating up, too
if you make 2 in a row you call HEATING UP and then if you make another you are ON FIRE and keep getting the ball until you miss haha

10 cups - 3 beers
Bounces permitted = equals 2 cups
- Swat after bounce
Can blow ball out of cup if its a ringer
- Only bitches blow
One re-rack, re-rack formation cannot extend outside of the original formation
Both players make a cup in one turn, they get balls returned

If both players make final cup, game over
If one player makes final cup, other team can make a cup to keep game going, but that cup stays on table

This was relatively new rules this year though.
Previously, I played 2 beers for 10 cups. Basically the same rules otherwise.
Some places allow 2 re-racks.
One place played no re-racks. That's a good challenge.

Oh, and varied rules I've encountered:
If ball misses cups but returns to your half of the table, and the other team doesn't recover it before you, you get to shoot again, but behind the back.

Thankfully, we don't play that at our place. Thankful because I can't shoot behind the back for shit. :p

Bouncing at opportune times is one of my favorite parts of the game... it's one of those things that doesn't happen for the first couple hours in the night but once people get sloppy it's like "WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!"

Its not just region, every person has their own house rules.

My fraternity in college's rules:
10 cup - re-rack on 8, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1
6 cup - no re-racks
Bouncing only counts as 1
Both players make it - bring back
No both-balls-in-same-cup rule
Drink before you shoot!
Redemption - losing team gets a chance to send it into overtime, but BOTH players have to make their shots. Not shoot till you miss.
If both players make last cup, it seals it, no opportunity for overtime
Shutout - naked lap

My apartment was similar except we had bouncing count as 2, you got 1 re-rack on 6 cup, and redemption was shoot till you miss.

Oh ya I forgot to put this. I do NBA JAM too

Edit: Only started that a year ago, though.

- 6 cups
- if both players make it into a cup, that team gets to shoot again
- one re-rack at the time of your choosing
- getting a ball into the other team's drink cup = automatic victory
- redemption after losing
- you can snatch up bounce-backs (leads to VERY violent and entertaining games)

Yeah I like that one too. Sometimes we require a team to drink one cup if both players airball.

10 cup
same cup = 3 cups, balls back
2 different cups = balls back
no bouncing
you can call a cup, if you make it its 2 cups total, if you make different cup it doesnt count

if you dont make any cups, you become a troll and have to sit under the table your next game

Also, here is a pic from a game we call "beerpongtopia", 90 cups, 20 beers each side

Yeah. I've played both ways. It's one of those rules that's dependent on how long you want the game to go on and how many more people want to play on the table.

10 cups (three beers)
2 balls, each player has to shoot once per turn
Bounces are worth two
- only "bitches" bounce
If the ball is in the cup, but hasn't touched liquid (ringer, bouncing around on the inside), guys finger, bitches blow
Once a ball has been made into the cup, you can pull it off the table
-if the opposing team makes it into the cup you are drinking, game over man
If two balls go into the same cup, it removes all cups touching it (explosion)
if one team makes both of its shots, balls come back (bring em back)
two reracks, anytime you want
redemption - you shoot till you miss, if you make the final cup, each team leaves their final cup on the table and the game continues.

those are the rules I allow in my house

One time we had a rule where if you landed a ball in the wash water, you had to drink it. One guy actually did it too. LOL that was gross.

P.S. We were in a garage.
