Beer drinkers sue Anheuser-Busch for watering-down beer

I was suspicious of the fact that they apparently never tested it. But I would assume it would be relatively simple to just pull a few months old beers today and test them.

If I had the equipment I would probably do it just for the lulz.
 
What's funny though is I am an "unofficial" taste tester for Budweiser 🙂 I have a friend who is a major distributor for them and is given tons of beers of various sorts to have tested. These are beers from OTHER companies that budweiser is interested in potentially adding into their lineup or just buying.

So basically I get to taste test all sorts of beers for them from other companies in their determination of what budweiser wants to go after next 🙂

I'd counter that with PBR. Living in a college town, I see that POS every where. God, everyone drink that garbage.. and one of the reasons I won't go to house parties.

Pbr is more expensive than bud light. I get my hipster on by drinking pbr when I go out.
 
i don't know what you guys are complaining about. Budweiser is my favorite brand of sparkling water. So crisp and refreshing! however i'm confused why people keep mentioning "beer" in this thread.
 
I have no sympathy for anyone who buys that AB shit.

In this day and age, a person should know better.

iirc, Bud has been about 5.2% or 5.4% for a long time. if it has dropped from that, or if they removed the labeling (I know this used to be on the cans), then I can see an issue.

But this is all silly. lawsuit should have happened ~1937 or so when they changed their world-class recipe to a depression-friendly type of piss water, which is all that we associate with the modern Budweiser.

They reduced their output over a decade ago to avoid bankruptcy, but then the hipsters magically discovered PBR--Yes! hipsters are the first to ever drink PBR!--so current output hasn't really met with hipster demand.

Also, I believe they are also owned by InBev, or maybe it's Miller, who, I'm guessing, classify PBR as middle-to-high end.

PBR is usually cheaper when you're out and about, and it's better. I don't buy shit beer for home drinking. If I want a 24 ounce can, I'll get a modello or dos xx

PBR is independent, but they are contract brewed by miller.
