Beeping Machine

Hi all,
I have an ASUS K7 mb,the first one they made, and an Athlon o'ced from 550 to 750. Recently the machine's speaker has taken upon itself to make the odd beeb, there does not seem to be a reason.

Anyone heard this and know why?

It may be an IRQ conflict. My SB Live Value sound card will cause an extra beep at startup if it does not like the IRQ that is assigned to it. When I manually assign it to IRQ 5 on my board, it takes care of the problem.

I guess you may be right as I have just added a TV PCIcard and it caused conflicts with the SB1024, I installed turn to resolve the problem. My machine also seems to have some PCI management missing. All in all it seems that a lot of things are not talking to each other very well.
