Anyone know the website that will tell me the beep codes for my Asus A7v witht he KT133 chipset? I get one long beep over and over again upon bootup with no video. I need to know what that will tell me. Thanks.

How can the CPU not be plugged in properly? It can only fit in one way. Then the lever goes down to lock it in. I don't understand...I know that CPU is good because it worked on another motherboard just recently.

Make sure the CPU is plugged in properly^^

That means take the heatsink off, take the cpu out, check all the pins are OK, then put it back in the socket, and make sure it is securely in place when you pull the lever down.

Ive had a half in socket 7 cpu once 😕

The strange thing was, the heatsink didnt even push it down into place ?!

What CPU is it?

I was under the impression that Award uses one long beep to indicate a memory problem. I would reseat your DIMM(s) or use another DIMM slot to isolate any faulty slots. Good luck!
