Beep, but no Video BIOS or anything.

A good friend of mine is having problems with a computer he just recently built. He is using an ABIT KG7-RAID with an Athlon XP 1800+, and tried it with an ATI All-In-Wonder 128 32MB PCI video card (in two PCI slots), and a generic TNT2 that was in the AGP slot. The thing beeps at him, but no Video BIOS pops up. He built the box on a carpet, though, so my assumption is that the mobo or something is fried. Any ideas?

He already tried the following:
- Putting the PCI video card in multiple slots
- Put the RAM in multiple slots
- Checked the CMOS jumper to see if it's where it's supposed to be

Have you tried just using one video card first. If it works with just one then make sure that the bios is set to boot off the one that you have the primary monitor
