Hi guys!
Bout a week ago, one of my work mates punched me reasonably hard under my left rib (kidney). It hurt at the time, but I didn't give too much thought too it... A couple days ago, it started really hurting, and now when I move even slightly it is very sore. The area looks normal from the outside tho.... Is it possible I've damaged my kidney in some way? Or am I just internally bruised....

btw, Just booked a doc's appointment this arvo, but wondering what ya'll reckon :)

sounds like he did some internal damage, but hopefully it didn't do any permanent damage.....I guess we'll see huh? :)

bruised kidney probably

not permanant, but not as temporary as you would want it to be!

good luck, and tell your co-worker to settle down.:D

Yeah, heaps of houses in Freo are Homewest houses, so they aren't too well kept. Mind you, there's a damn bit of dosh being put into the place now. Getting a bit shwanky for my liking I think ;). There's new apartments and town houses going up all over the place. It's going crazy over here.

You'll probably be OK in a while. You did the right thing by making an appointment with the Doc.I would imagine you are a person in your early-to-mid 20's.If so, your bod has an amazing ability to heal itself.

On the other hand, you are protected under the work laws, I'm sure, also your employers' work rules.I'd want to make it very clear to my co-worker that this behaviour will not be tolerated in the future, and if it happens again, tell your boss...and document everything.People talked to, times, dates, etc.
