Depends on how you value your time and convenience. I would not regret if I were you. I went about 5 days without a phone after giving my iPhone to my dad and it wasn't.. easy to say the least.
 
I ordered a 16GB but I just cancelled my order. Since it was OOS for awhile I got the Note 2 and as alluring as a "Pure Google" experience is, the larger 5.5" screen and S-Pen features on the Note 2 are growing on me.

cm10.1 nightlies are available for the note 2 - you can try it out if you want a stock-like experience

Thanks for the info! I've been meaning to root this Note2 but I've just been really lazy. Hopefully the rooting process isn't too hard. Maybe I'll do it this weekend.
