Hey all, I havent done much with my pc in about a year or so and just picked up a
Opteron 175 to get me thru till about Oct. I messed around O/Cing and got it up
to 3.09Ghz rock stable @ 1.4v. Is this a good overclock for this chip or below average?

Current quick system Specs.

ASUS A8N-SLI Premium
Opteron 175
Corsair DDR 4400 (4x 512mb )
Dual BFG 6800 OC, SLI
2 x 250gb HD in Raid 0
XP120 Heatsink (Hmm I think thats it, the huge al one with heat speaders)

Thanks for any input.

3.09GHz with only 1.40V and air-cooling? That is an exceptional overclock for a Toledo.

yes, that is awesome on an opteron 175. There is another guy who just posted that he has an fx60 at 2.9. I couldn't get my fx55 over 2.9, and my opteron 180 is stuck at 2.6. Of course, I do have a crappy mobo/ram, but I was still hoping for 15-20 %. You have 40+% oc on a pretty high end skt 939 chip on air, you got a great chip.

Thanks for all the replies, I'm happy now that I have some feedback. I think I could push this chip a bit faster with 2 sticks of ram. When I was messing around overclocking anytime it hung at post I had to take one stick out and jump back into the bios and tame it down a bit.

Having been not up with the times, is the Toledo and the Denmark the same thing?
When I bought the chip it was stated as Denmark.
