Hmm... I haven't even heard the sirens go off yet.
...and I would hope that they learned their lessons from 2011. We mostly got in such a bad spot because a tornado knocked out the only lines taking power from TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) to northern Alabama. It also didn't help that Browns Ferry got shutdown for a bit.

Except for the 5"/hour rainfall that some areas are getting pounded with. Tons of flash flood warnings being thrown around.
The guy that died in Tuscaloosa was in the basement. Retaining wall feel on him. :\
