been diving in Blockbusters dumster latley?

last week, about thursay, after coming home from a boring day at school, i stopped off at my local blockbuster store, to rent a movie for the weekend. i went the back way, becuase it was esier, and i noticed a bulge of videos out of the dumster. i went closer to investigate, and sure enough, the dumster was chok full of VHS movies, all new, and sealed. i went into blockbuster to get my movie, and went back out, now, with a fair amount of blockbuster bags, and i filled them. about three bags full of new release VHS movies, i got: 4 copies of each: scary movie, little nicky, the 6th day, the ladies man, bring it on, vertical limit, unbreakable..... the list goes on. now i have a little over 60 videos. but the next day, i made a fool out of myself, and went back to get more.... and i didnt relize the car wash acrosed the way, was open. so for one, i was digging Illegaly, in blockbusters dumster, and today, getting looked at by some very confused latinos.
i tried to look dignified, i looked at my watch, and tapped my feet, like i was waiting for somewone, and then when they were not looking, i reached in the dumster, and grabbed a few. and then after 20 min. or so of this, i left for the half a mile walk home, with four more bags full of movies. and then they dumped the rest. what a waste.
well.....er.. i thought id like to share that.

<< Free movies. Cool. I can't believe BB didn't try to sell them first. >>

Looking at the list:
scary movie, little nicky, the 6th day, the ladies man, bring it on, vertical limit, unbreakable.....

I think they did but failed spectacularly. 😛 😀

Ahh, the age old phrase of "One man's trash is another man's treasure".😛

From the stuff I've read lately, I'm highly tempted to do a lil bit of dumpster diving soon for computer supplies

<< Common thief... nice. >>

If the police can go through your trash and collect evidence, I wouldn't think dumpster diving is illegal. Now if you had to break a lock or climb a fence to get to the dumpster, that's another story.

I remember hearing from one of the BB guys that the fast &the furious VHS tapes had to be destroyed and not sold because they weren't going to be publicly realeased. Seems pretty strange to me, but if its true and you got some, they could be worth something. On the other hand, it isn't exactly a good movie so maybe they aren't worth jack sh!t.

The only thing i ever took from the garbage was about 20 naked barbie dolls from my neighbor. I guess her daughter didn't want to play with them anymore. They went well with my ninja turtles and he-men.

the dumster was just on the side of the building in the back area of the parking lot, it wast behind a gate, or fence. and not gaurded by the the taliban or anything. so it should be fine legaly, but not moraly, but there was no rotten bannas or anything, just piles and piles of movies.

dumpster diving is illegal. my aunt got picked up for it while she was strung out on meth. but i woulda done if for a bunch of vhs movies 🙂
