Beef left in the fridge for 3-4 days...

It was defrosted on thursday, but left in the fridge throughout friday and the weekend. I've heard somewhere in the past that meat left in the fridge shouldn't be eaten past three days, any truth to that?

If it's brown then I wouldn't eat it, but if it's still nice and pink most of the way through, it should be okay.

air will turn the blood dark brown, but that does not necessarily mean the meat is bad. If it smells funny, dont eat it.

you can go about a week and a half and still be fine. it starts to spoil after about 2 weeks.

Like they said above, give it a whiff. You will know if it's bad. I highly doubt it after only three days. If it was good when you froze it, it will be good afterwards.

i believe the microbes grow exponentially every extra day it sits. good luck and report back if you can.
