Beef Jerky fans, where do you guys buy your supply at?

I like buying my jerky at this store in San Gabriel, CA. San Gabriel Superstore on Valley and San Gabriel Ave. Walk into store, turn left. You'll see it. Tubs and tubs of jerky. Of course its $14-16 a pound, but its good. Better than american jerky, as this stuff here is moist, soft, tasty, and spicy.

I can't remember exact pricing or anything, but along with the normal retail-packaged stuff (which is discounted) they have big bags of jerky, pepperoni, etc. in clear plastic bags and it's much cheaper per pound than it would be at any store.

If you want REALLY cheap jerky they'll usually have some stuff that has just passed the "Best if used by" date. I've bought some before and it was fine.

Just be aware that most jerky has sodium nitrate preservatives in it which I hear is baaaadddd for you. Doesn't stop me from eating it though. You can always get a food dehydrator and make it yourself. It's pretty easy, cheap and really frickin good!

LOL. Unfortunately I live in Portland so I only pick some up when I happen to be in Seattle or Albany (both are long drives).
