I work with someone who sells supplements. She claims that bee pollen is the ultimate natural product. She said that it would boost my immune system, yet I've still had countless colds.

I did notice that about 20 minutes after taking some, it gave me a rush, similar to having a cup of coffee.

Is there anything to this stuff?

I'm not exactly ingratiated in the body building community, but i've never heard of anyone taking pollen as a supplement

Maybe they stole it from the bees before they could make it into honey.

It's not meant as a bodybuilding supplement.

It's supposedly able to boost your immune system and your metabolism.

I worked at GNC for a while, don't waste your money on it bro...
A good multivitamin is all you should be spending money on, in addition to some casual whey protein and creatine monohydrate if you're into bodybuilding, just don't go overboard on the creatine

and another tip, just buy whatever's cheapest! snatch up stuff on clearance, most will be good for months after expiration!

Bee pollen can be useful, especially for allergy sufferers like myself, but it absolutely positively MUST be local, or else it's worthless.
Best bet is just to buy local honey to occasionally use in place of sugar.
