Believe it or not, you can vote when you are 18 in the States, too!
 
you get to register for the selective service so bush can draft your ass when he gets re-elected (no worries for him, he only has daughters).
 
Gamble at Indian Reservation Casinos, Legally obtain porn at a store or online, Buy tobacco Products, Start to Establish Credit, Obtain work at many more places...quite a few things

Legal drinking age is not 19 everywhere in canada (there's Quebec and some others)
Vote and gambling are also part of the 18 yo package.
