Like others said, wait a month or two till the price drops. Or if you have a Fry's, the usually discount new games.

The only game I can see myself paying $50-60 bucks for in the near future is Civ. 4 the instant it comes out.... paid $55 for WOW played it for about two weeks got bored...

I once bought tons of games when they came out now I wait a little while at least until they hit $30 or so.....

I guess their will be tons of demand for Halo3 though....never really thought much of Halo never played Halo2....can't stand that kind of game without a mouse (drives me nutes the controls feel so crappy to me)....all thats just imo though...they will sell tons of copies even if they sold it for $70...Halo 2 is definitely crack for some people, probably like the civ series is to me been playing since Civ1...had to convert it from 5.25's to 3.5's to play....the best..
