[Beating a dead horse] Intel C Compiler and AMD cpus

1) Buy llano apu with up to SSE4 support
2) Download pcsx2 (playstation 2 emulator)
3) Go to plugin selection window and try to use GSDX SSE4 or SSE3 version

Watch how it tells you that your cpu does not support those extensions.

Am I doing something wrong or I'm seeing ICC cripple function at work?

SSE4 and SSE4A is not the same. Llano doesnt support SSE4.1/4.2. They also dont support SSSE3 (Not to be confused with SSE3).

crap you're right the plugin is SSSE3 and not SSE3

You need BD/PD/Jaguar uarch to support SSSE3/SSE4.1/SSE4.2.

And Richland would be PD uarch, hence why its supported.
