Finally broke down and bought the retail version of Win DVD 2.3 so I can enjoy the digital output (5.1).
To my dismay I cannot get the digital signal recognized on my dtt 2500 digital speakers.
The yellow din connector is plugged into the card then it splits into two: RED S-type and black rca connector. These two then connect to the dtt-2500 receiver: red going to "digital din" and black to "Dobly Digital (ac-3)SPDIF in".
I believe this is the correct set up.
Messed around with the different audio settings within win dvd (spdif output, 6 speaker, etc.) but the dolby digital light on the receiver never lights up. And from the sound of things there is not five separate channels.
I know somone has the answer to this because I used to see threads on it all the time.
Thanks
