He broke his ankle. Out 3-5 months, which is pretty much the entire year.

yeah, i can't believe this. What is the guy made of freakin butter? How could they not have picked up a capable backup in the offseason, they knew this guy was injury prone. its gonna be another long season for us bears fans....
