<< Nothing more I can do, and if you have not heard fans are as much as a factor in a teams success as a good coach. >>

Prove it.

Chief, there's a reason teams worry so much about seeding. Homecourt advantage makes a pretty big difference...

Take Oregon for example:
17-0 at home
6-8 otherwise 😕

<< b0mbrman,
so will I!!!!😀 What will you do when they don't!

Be unsurprised...8-seeds aren't supposed to win anyhow

I would guess that they could empty the gym and the result would be the same. IMO it's more about the comforts of home than anything else. This "we" thing is just a pet peeve of mine. People running around going "we did this and we did that". You did nothing.

<< We beat Marquette twice, Wake Forest, Xavier, and Memphis! I do not need to justify our record to anyone, people who know a lot more about it than I do made this decision. There are a lot of other factors involved than just who we beat. Quit bein so pissy!!!😀

Oklahoma should never have been ranked hgher than Cincinnati anyway!

Weak Forest, Marquette, Xavier, oh and MEMPHIS.

Compare that to UConn, Maryland, Texas (thrice), and the number one team in the land in KU.

This is a true example of east coast bias.

Brilliant deduction there. Ever hear of a "figure of speech"? Not everything said is meant to be taken literally you know.

l2c

P.S. Arrogant people are my pet peeve.

You've got a point there...The best example comes from Chris Rock talking about Blacks running around yelling "We won! We won!" after OJ was found not guilty 😀

But on the other hand, my tuition money helps pay for their training facilities (actually, the Army's tuition money 😉) and occasionally, I'll play with or against some of them in a weekend pickup game so they're just a *tiny* bit better directly because of me 🙂

Xavier is in Cincinnati also. It is within 2 miles of UC. We have two teams in the tourney and they are both in the West region..ouch!!!!

I had forgotten about this thread. I'm glad it came back up. It was a great game. I thought UCLA was out of it after watching the first half, but they played really well in the 2nd half and the 2 OTs. Freesia, your post makes it sound like we got lucky. The team played a good game, and deserved that win. Missouri is like our team, up and down, but they got hot at the right time..Should be a good game. I want to see Tyus Edney's 4.4 seconds over and over this week, should be great 🙂
