Bear gets punked by a leopard

That wasn't a leopard. That was a mountain lion.

But yeah, that bear lost. All about the posturing. Although cats are pretty god damn tough if they're forced to fight.

I don't think that bear was looking for a fight though.

That Bear would tear that cat up. It wasn't looking to tussle. The mother, like all mothers, will posture and haphazardly fight usually until they fear they'll lose their life.

If that Bear was hungry enough and in a pissed off mood, he'd have two meals that day....

Yeah. The cat tried, but the bear basically shrugged her off. After that, the bear didn't care enough to bring the fight to the next level and just backed off.

Yeah, you could call it a cougar, but not a leopard...as far as common names typically go.

lol @ leopard.

i thought leopards were yellowish with black spots / markings.

They are. There's also black leopards that, while they look all black from distance, they're actually a very very dark brown with even darker spots.

Too bad the bear wasn't looking for a fight or it would have been very interesting, given the mountain lion had a cub nearby.

Nice footage.

Well, Mountain Lions are trained to destroy the anti-christ, so it shouldn't have a problem dealing with a bear.

A quote from ABC:
Jack's owner, Donna Dickey, told The Star-Ledger of Newark that Jack considers the area his turf and doesn't want anyone in his yard.
