Bean Heads, what's your top coffee?

I don't drink coffee, but love the smell.

I wanna try making some Kona coffee cookies (I had some in Vegas last year). I probably only need about a tablespoon, so a small bag will suffice. Which Kona Coffee brands should I go with?

It's not bad, but have you tried Dunken Donuts?

I haven't tried Dunkin' single origin, but I do like their blends in store. My favorite coffee out of all the big national chain coffee shops. Their bags are a little more expensive and not as good as 8 o'clock, but they aren't bad.

The wife found some 8 O'Clock on sale 2 for 1, we stocked up a little 🙂

I have to try that, actually just made a cup using a different variety:

Dude, try the Central Highlands out, I love it, but I still need to try Colombian Peaks out myself also I guess.

🙂

*edit* they are still on sale, I'm she going out to see if they have these tomorrow 🙂

They have the French in beans also, just a pic I guess.

The problem with blade grinders is the results are inconsistent. With a burr you can set the grind size and have repeatable results every time. It's an important aspect of a good brew.

I ordered an Aeropress last week on sale for $22. Unfortunately I got Rakutened and it was cancelled. They did send a $10 off $40 coupon so I ordered one at the normal price.

I've only drank drip coffee with Folgers or Maxwell House. I got to try a cup of Keurig coffee the other day. After that cup I went back to my normal stuff and it was bitter, strong and smelled like cat spray. It's time for me to get a grinder/mill...

I think I might get one of these soon just so I have a burr grinder that you can just stick in the aeropress and grind what you want off the bat.

It's more for travel it looks in fitting in the handle, but still looks convenient for one.

The wife did go back and look the next day on the French Roast etc, they had been wiped out on the 8 O'Clock by then.
