The festival circuit this year isn't as good as the last two years. I try to make it to one or two of the big festivals right around the beginning of May and none of them look all that impressive. Atlanta has plenty of bands, but not too many I'm interested in. Beale St. looks decent, but previous lineups make this year's look really weak. River Stages in Nashville looks pretty good on Saturday, but I'll probably do something else on Friday and Sunday.

But, hell, once you get there it's fun no matter whos playing. That is, unless you have to stand in a beer line for an hour.

Don't know if you like jam music, but the bonnaroo festival was announced last week. It's going to be huge. Late June.

there are some good bands this year, but doesn't look as great as last years group....definitely a fun and good fest to go to if you've never been.

It doesn't look as good as last year but I believe they will add a few more within the next month to make it better. It still should be a blast. Bring a big bladder because porta-pottie lines are very long.

Also, you have Hootie.......what else could you want 😉

Do any of you live in or around Memphis? I live about an hour away in Jonesboro, AR.

The list looks good this year... maybe it won't rain every day this year.😕

Hey man, I like Hootie. Darius Rucker has a great voice and I really like their more country/folk stuff over the radio stuff. Don't get me wrong, I like all it, but I think the stuff they do with Nanci Griffith is top notch.

They were really good on the Austin City Limits last time. Nanci was there and it was really nice.

Jfrag,

I live in Memphis

royaldank,

I have nothing against Hootie. I like some of their music.

I live in Millington, which is just outside of Memphis.

Millington huh? Home of good ole Millington Telephone. I grew up and went to High School in Munford.

Time out for Spanish, Bad Baby Name, and Dumb Ass of the Day.......how could you not listen.
