be6 / PIII 800E problem

I have a be6 mobo with bios upgraded to th. after I installed the P3 800E (slot 1) I would get a emu10k1 error on bootup. I uninstlled the sound card and the system would boot ok but I would get sceen hangs from time to time. when I reinstalled my old 366 celeron the system would work fine. any ideas what the problem is? system: be6 mobo/ voodoo 3 3000/ sb live value/ ibm 13gb hd/ 128 mb pc100
 
DO you have the latest creative driver ? I only get that on SB Live.. all you need to do is download the latest driver off creative. Thats what most people did and it works..
