Be ware! Amazon may charge more to your toy orders than you should pay

I think it is a hot deal cause this may save someone's money, at least mine already.

I ordered some toys during the crazy toy sale in amazon, by using some codes,my final cost for 5 item toys is $2.7x. Yesterday when I checked my credit card account, I found a charge of $13.x from amazon! I don't remember I ordered sth that much! So I went to my amazon account to check out what is going on.You know what, amazon calculated my order item by item and the final becomes $13.x. Even in the same page, my total charge still shows $2.7x. I grabbed a phone and called, a nice CSR checked and immediately appologized to me for the mistake.I don't know if that only happened to me accidentally or "intentionally". But check your credit card to find out.

PS. Mod, pls allow this to float around for a while cause I believe a lot of people ordered from amazone during that sale. Let them adjust if this is hot or not, thanks a lot.

EDIT: call 1800-2017575 for fast contact.
Update: My online account just shows $13.x and no more $2.7x, when I called back, the CSR said a $11.x refund is being processed, so let's see what will happen.
 
amazon tried to take me for shipping charges when I ordered an item from them that was listed as having "free shipping". I emailed them and they corrected the error, but it makes me wonder how many people don't pay attention to these things and get taken. It's a good little scam for amazon, advertise free shipping, charge for shipping anyway, 30-30% of customers call in to point out the error, they still get shipping costs from I'm sure well over 50% of shoppers.
 
Thanks for the reminder. I just checked and turns out they overcharged me on handling to compensate for shipping. I just emailed them.. hoping for a little change coming back to me.

Another Amazon SCAM! I ordered the Jokersmoker super soaker deal- buy one, get another (different model) free. Amazon ships the first (full price) super soaker, then emails me that the second is not available, but not to worry because they won't charge my credit card for it! I now have a full price super soaker and NO free item. I'm going to send the first one back to them at their expense, and refute the charge on my credit card because they didn't send me what was ordered! B*stards!

Just refuse acceptance then they will eat up the shipping charges.
