Im in the process of building a new Ryzen 2700x with GTX 1080 rig and I’ve decided that my faithful, decade old Antec 300 Illusion case might need to be replaced. It’s loud, and lacks front USB 3 ports, and is a pain to deal with hard disks in.
I’ve come down to two options as a replcement, the Be Quiet! Pure Base 600 (with window) and the Corsair Graphite 230t and I’m having trouble deciding between them. The 600 is one of the quietest mid towers there is, but seems to suffer from a lack of airflow with the base fan config meaning I would have to add at least one more intake fan and possibly add exhaust fans on top.
The 230t is noisier, and has better airflow, but is difficult to find in plain black, plus the LED fans seem a little intrusive (though not as bad as the Antec).
I’m curious if anyone has either and has opinions on those two cases or other suggestions please feel free to share on them.
