Would anyone care to present their research and prove that correlation.

I didn't think so.

No, of course not, no correlation at all, no correlation between Terrorism and Osama or Hussein either and those Nail Clippers are the most lethal weapon of all time.

Dave, you should get a refund on your reading comprehension course.

All I know is I want this Kay revelations crap off the front page. If I have to admit that my mental lethargy helped kill hundreds of Americans and thousands of innocent Iraqis I'm going to be really pissed off.

If they really had leads as to what flights and when - why wouldn't they put on several
special agents that were armed to the teeth and wait for someone to act suspicious ?

Last row of each cabin section on the aisle so they can see everyone in front of them and follow the
progress of anyone who would enter from a cabin behind, since thay could observe movement as well.

2 in the front, 2 in the middle and 2 all the way to the back monitoring the aft lavatories.
That is 6 good guys and if anyone dare become agressive you pretty much got them.

Blurting out 'Wolf ! Wolf ! ' every other week is bogus - if they really have any data they
would keep it quite so as not to tip their habds and bait and execute the trap.

Paranoids running the Government - that's unforgivable.
Right...and what if the bad guy has some sort of explosive?

BTW, is a pressured cabin full of people where you really want to be shooting off guns?

Sorry, but it could have. All the US has to do is mandate completely locked-down cockpits like El-Al Airlines has had for 30+ years. Can't hijack a plane and crash it into a building if you can't get in the cockpit now can you?

Senator Jay Rockefeller, D-West Virginia: Flight cancellations necessary

Film at eleven.....

Outside the network's studios, Rockefeller added, "We don't know how to protect against any biological. ... You play it safe, and the plane doesn't fly, and people are going to have to get used to that, and people are not going to like that, but it's what you've got to do in this era."

The senior U.S. official added, "Was this about them not wanting sky marshals? It is much more complex than that. Was the intelligence related to concerns about al Qaeda? Yes."

I have flown about half-a-dozen times since 9/11 (both in-country and internationally) and have had the same 2.5 inch keychain knife on my key-chain since 1992. Unfortunately, air lines are the most secure of the methods into this country. Only 2% of industrial containers are inspected coming into our ports (to say nothing of the quality of inspections).

2-1-2004 Airline Cancels Washington-Houston Flight

WASHINGTON - Continental Airlines canceled a Sunday evening flight from Washington to Houston after security concerns were raised by the Homeland Security Department.

Department spokesman Brian Roehrkasse said Flight 1519 was canceled "due to security concerns and threat reporting about that particular flight."

He added that the federal agency and Continental "worked closely on the matter," but did not give any further details of the threat.

The National Football League's Super Bowl was being played Sunday evening at Reliant Stadium, approximately 27 miles from the airport.

Don't know of ANY pressurized cabin when an airplane is sitting on a remote end of a runway away from flight traffic,
especially if it had been surrounded by a ring of armed security agents.

What do you suppose that they could have gotten on the aircraft with ?
European Airline Security is sllrdgrf to be better than ours,
what with the minimum wages our systems pay.

If they got aboard they couldn't pull off anything.

This is a Bush Agenda BoogyMan.
Rest assured.

U.S. says All Clear Boogie Men gone:

2-3-2004 U.S. Says No Plans to Ground New Flights

WASHINGTON - The "specific and credible" terrorist threats that led to the cancellation of seven flights have passed and there are no plans to ground any more flights, government officials said Monday.

"At this point we do not have any new threat reporting targeting specific flights like we did over the weekend," White House spokesman Scott McClellan said.

McClellan defended the decision to ground the flights.

"When we have specific intelligence that comes to our attention, we act on that intelligence, we share it, and that's what you are seeing done here," he said.

Ya, gosh too bad you wernt on the case it never would have happened then. Perhaps you should write a pamphlet and offer it to the CIA, FBI, NSA, ect. You could title it "hindsight 101"
