BDA2+ or 4G4A? Using it with a 1.6a

I just ordered my 1.6a on Friday and have been deciding betweent these two motherboards for overclocking it (thus why I put it in here, not mobos). I was leaning towards the BDA2+ as I'd read lots of people being able to hit high speeds with it, but the 4G4A seems to have some nifty little options on it. RAM size isn't really an issue (2 slots is fine for what I currently do and the memory I currently posess). Looking from a stability/overclockability/features standard, which of the two would you choose? I'm after user experience more than anything, reviews are good but they don't contain the "using it in every day life" aspect...and I use my computer for a large portion of what I do (nothing ;))

Thanks. :)

Stay away from the 4G4A if you plan on OC'ing and want stability. Epox dispensed with the 12volt power lead which gives the CPU the extra juice it needs to run well at higher FSB's. A real pity cause the board seems like a winner.

Don't get the 4G4A+ for overclocking..I've heard bad stuff.

Check out the Gigabyte 8IEXP too. It seems like an EPoX 4BDA2+ with even more features. :D

Agreed, I just read the hard-ocp review of the IT7 Max and it seems darn nice. I'll have to check my mouse and keyboard etc to check I can get them on to USB (they are on ps2). It made some lovely scores in the benchmarks though so should I get some good Samsung memory I guess I may have a speed lil thing on my hands. :D

I did a google search on the 8IEXP but thus far have only come across chinese articles (haven't seen any on HOCP, Anand or SE)...but I've got a few weeks until I order anyways, so time is not of the upmost importance currently. :)

Gracias for the suggestions.

edit: Odd, my font has come out an odd colour.
edit 2: Hehehe, the [ H ] for hard ocp makes it go an odd colour, d'oh!

Just read a review on the IT7 over at hexus.net. I have s USB mouse, I'll need to get another keyboard (which hikes the mobo price up to ~170) plus the Samsung RAM I was hoping to get with it. :( I might still end up going with the BDA2+, as that way I can get another hard drive with it (My current one is near busting point - about 700megs of 40 gigs free. Currently it's between these two as after about 4 different stores I still couldn't find anything on the GigaByte one.

Now all it comes down to is how much money I have at the end of the month...*goes off to rob a store ;)*
