bcs rankings - week 2 - TEXAS IS #1

Hammer

let's see how much Texas gains on USC. i don't expect them to move into 1st but they will be very close...

edit:

hahahahaha

i dont' see any changes for awhile. seems like a lock for Texas to win out since they're not playing any more top 25 teams.

USC will probably win out too... VT have a tougher schedule compares to the other two.

is that some kind of sick joke? maybe their remaining schedule is tougher by default, but usc and texas have had MUCH tougher schedules than va tech. in fact, va tech hasn't played anyone good at all. the ONLY good team they play is miami, and i wouldn't doubt it if they lost that game.

Georgia and Alabama too. Doesn't help Georgia that their starting QB DJ Shockley will likely not start against Florida this weekend. Bama gets two easy weeks (Utah St then Miss St) but then has LSU at home and is at Auburn to finish the season.

Human polls had virtually no change. Computer polls may have changed (I didn't look), but since the high and low are already thrown out, there is no chance for much to change there either. So, Texas will probably barely move closer.

how do you figure?

i meant the remaining games... i would not be suprised if Vt gets beat by miami.

as for Texas, or USC, for the REMAINING games, I don't see anyone good enough to beat them.. except maybe UCLA for USC.

only va tech has a chance against usc (cuz of vick)

hahahaha you got to be kidding me

usc may very well beat texas, especially with reggie bush...

but va tech does not have any better chance. vick is severely overrated, and i'd take young over him any day

haha UCLA is up to six.

really, what are you all proclaiming about texas being 1? SC is still 2, so they're still in a showdown for the national title. all the SC haters coming out in full force again... the computer ranks really hurt them this week.

Don't worry Queasy...I'll be pulling for you guys up until the Auburn weekend. 🙂

I eat my words. I didn't think Massey would drop USC that much.
