Here is what I want to see happen.

Georgia loses to Ga Tech(keep in mind that Georgia will be overlooking GT because of their showdown with Alabama

Georgia beats Alabama in the SEC Championship game

Clemson destroys South Carolina

FSU destroys Florida

Notre Dame crushes USC.

Oregon Loses to Oregon State

Stanford loses to UCLA

Kansas State loses to Texas

That leaves Clemson, FSU and Notre Dame as 1 loss teams in the top 10. It would be absolutely hilarious given the love the SEC gets.

The SEC gets "love" because it's the best conference. Get over it.

Your perfect scenario still has flaws unfortunately. If ND loses and Florida beats Florida State next week then you could very well have a Bama vs. Florida or a Georgia vs. Florida title game.

This was assuming that Oregon drops to no more than 4 in the BCS. Alabama's loss to Texas A&M dropped them only to 4, and Stanford was ranked higher than A&M. If Stanford falls to UCLA, UCLA would possibly be ranked 10 - 12, maybe more if others lose, like loser of Florida vs FSU, and so Oregon would have beaten 2 top 15 teams in a row (OSU and UCLA). Alabama will play Georgia for SEC title. Florida only has one more game to play, and Georgia will be in the SEC title game no matter what. A Georgia win over GT shouldnt move them up in any polls. Second place SEC Divisional finisher shouldnt be in the BCS championship game on principal. So Florida is out. I think the voters will not let that Florida slide into number 2. You should only have two teams from the same conference in the BCS title game if they were divisional winners,. but really, you dont win your division, you dont get a title shot. Yeah, it happened last year, but that was bs.

Cliffs: In my perfect scenario, Georgia doesnt factor in, as they will be beaten by Alabama. Third place in the SEC doesnt warrant a title shot imo. And this is my perfect scenario, so it has no flaws!

As somebody who lives a few mere miles from Notre Dame, I can safely say this town's fandom is getting annoying and they need to be brought down a peg.

Thank god the home games are over so I can actually get to places on saturday.

BCS as of now:

1) Notre Dame
2) Alabama
3) Georgia
4) Florida
5) Oregon

Computer polls are really hurting Oregon.

Notre Dame will face Alabama in the championship and lose by at least 35 points. It will be a complete sham. But they've certainly earned it.

lol, can't even take criticism. Sorry but the SEC isn't 5 of the top 10 best teams in the nation.

If Clemson and FSU take care of business next week, it will expose the SEC for what it is, a top heavy conference just like the ACC, PAC12, Big 12, and Big 10.

The ACC is a pitiful conference. No doubt, but the SEC isn't that much better than the Big 12. Yet, the SEC has 5 out of the top 10 teams in the nation? Give me a break.....

It is called stacking the deck in the preseason polls. And ESPN has a vested interesting and continuing to put forth that myth.

Well, at least as far as the ACC goes, I do know that Tennessee beat NC State. And UT doesn't have a single SEC win. So they're 1-0 in the ACC against the team that beat FSU. Woo. Yeah I know that means absolutely nothing.

And by the way, I understand the poll stacking argument. But the fact is many of these SEC teams do well on average in computer rankings as well. Are these rankings programmed with SEC bias as well?

Actually, they are. And FL will likely get beat, because their starting QB is out. And either Bama or GA will lose, because they have to play each other (if both win this week), unlike ND which just skates next week. And they play a USC team without their starting QB, shouldn't be a problem for them. Oregon doesn't have very good wins, which is why computers hate them. And FSU lost to a team with five loses at the time... I mean c'mon. So the computers hate them too.

Saw today (on FOX sports so you can't cry about ESPN's "vested interest") that any of the SEC teams in the top 10 would be favored over ND in the champ game.

The simple fact is the SEC is the best conference from top to bottom. Get over it already. No other conference is even close. Sure ESPN says this, because it's true. So does every other sports news authority.

But feel free to provide proof of your comments that ESPN has a vested interest, and it's a myth that SEC teams are so good. Anyone can say anything they want, you can't back up your talk though. So many SEC haters, but when you continually get owned, I guess I can see why.

edit, and before you accuse me of some bias, my state doesn't even have a football team. Being born and raised in, Alaska. And it apparently is too good to play against. I just see things how they are. :)

What does ESPN get out of it?
