I bought from them 2 years ago. I bought $50 worth of ink for my Canon 450I. Here it is 2 years later I still have about 6 cartridges left of each, never had a problem, and they are still $1.15!
If you buy more then $49 worth shipping is free.

Megatoners. Just put in your model number and see how cheap.
I have even printed out countless numbers of photos with this ink and it does a great job. For $1.15 you cant beat it, print what ever when ever.

Enjoy!

How isnt this a hot deal if I may ask? Retail ink for my printer is $15 for black and $22 for color last time I bought and I can get color for $1.15. I am not sure I understand how that isnt hot.

It's hot but people here have known about megatoners for years. Also try monsterinkjets.com and tylermartin.com for their USA brand ink.

And some people will argue that since these are generic cartridges they are inferior quality and will clog the heads on the printer. Whether or not this is true I don't know, but that's why some people choose to pay the $15-$20 for the Canon brand ink rather than a generic.

Well I can say I have been using it for almost 2 year and only used canons ink 3 times I think. I havent had any problems at all with my print head really clogging up. Every now and then I will do a clean head but only if I havent used it in a month. I am very happy with the ink myself and the price I paid. Saved me a butt load :)

Clogging is not the problem, color fading is. You should get two printers, one for daily use - cheapest ink will do; one for good stuff.

If you want the best quality ink for generics get the USA brand from tylermartin or refill your own with US made ink. Lemmie know if your interested.

We run 10 Canon inkjets here and have been through it all. Generic, refill, even continuous feed.

At least you have a Canon printer. The best but the Canons that take individual ink tanks are even better.

Is that ink any good for printing photos?

I have some ink I use for photos. It's actually suprior to original canon ink.
Actually, Canon has a patent on their magenta and THIS ink is better than Canons magenta!.

I use it to refill or continous feed...have several of these units.

If you refill get these. These are the best. I know the people personally.
American made ink from a huge company you would know...if you heard the name.

You can also buy bulk ink.

If you want generic carts only try the USA brand from tylermartin.

Greetings,

Just to clarify a common misconception - the ink cartridges Megatoners sells are manufacutred in China. However, the actual ink inside is made in USA. It doesn't really matter where the ink is made though. What matters is the type of ink. Some ink manufacturers use dye based ink (worse) and others used pigment based ink (better).

I am in the ink business myself. All my products are 100% guaranteed. All ink is shipped same day and received within 24-72 hours (usa only). Defective rate is less than 1%. eBay feedback is 600+ ALL POSITIVE. I know it sounds too good to be true, but it almost is. My plans are to create the "newegg" of the ink business, and I think I'm well on my way.

I cannot tell you the company name as that would probably be considered advertising. If you are interested though, shoot me a PM. :)

Edit: Oh, and in response to the "hot deal" topic. I was selling FIVE of the Canon BCI-21C cartridges for $2.95. Shipping was $3.85 (actual price) as I do not make any extra penny on shipping.

I have a i470 that uses these tanks, and the authentic ones are only about $6.50 at Staples/OfficeMax/OfficeDepot. I usually tack some on to orders and get free shipping. Unless you print a lot, there really is not much price difference to get the real thing. MT's ink is one of the better generics, but they still tend to clog the print heads faster than OEM ones.

Just to make things better. Anyone that has Epson Printers and would like to refil them but can't because the chip locks out and does not want to purchase those expensive auto reset chips there is another way that I found. There is a free software that will do just that and has a lot more fetures. Here is the link http://www.ssclg.com/epsone.shtml
I think this is a great deal for what you get

Hope that someone can find this usefull

I also had used Megatoners for at least three years until one order they shipped with two dried up cartridges. They were real Canon/Apple cartridges that were around 13.00 a piece. I called them on the phone and I was talking to a real person who said they only deal with returns and defects, etc by email. I said you're kidding? I have you on the phone, just give me your customer support. She would not and I proceeded to deal with my problem by email. Turns out they only guarantee their cartridges for 30 days then you're shltouttaluck. I emailed them back and said it's only been 35 days since I purchased them, what am I supposed to do, check every cart after it arrives??? This order was for around 135.00 and had 20-30 cartridges in it. They sent me the same canned email response twice and they refused to even answer my emails after that. I contested the cost of those two cartridges with my CC company and had my money (26.00 plus shipping) refunded. Screw Megatoners! I would spend 150-250.00 a year with them by combining purchases with friends and family and my work. They lost my business over 26.00 worth of cartridges and with any other people I can convince to go to another source for their ink.

I used Tylermartin now. The have an eBay store that is cheaper than going to their website. Two orders from Tylermartin with zero problems. They have my business now.
