BBC's Coupling

But why are the seasons so terribly short? 6 episodes in one season, come on! Also, does anyone know if they'll be back for a 5th season?

British televisions seasons are typically around 6 episodes. I dunno about the 5th season, but we have the first 3 on dvd.

No word on the 5th Season (or Series 5 as it will be called in the UK) but if the quality of the 4th Season is anything to judge by it should be back. Especially considering the plot lines they've left unfinished.

series 4 was definately not as good as the previous 3 though, imho. I liked Jeff quite a bit more than Oliver, though he was alright. My biggest peeve was with the originals. I felt their performances were mediocre, or else the writing was poor. It was hard to tell.

He's gone. he apparently is in the US (Richard Doyle I mean) his character got sent to Lesbos for some business trip.

From what I understood he left to work on the series Strange, in which he played the part of the title character. The show was a flop though.

If he knew what was good for his career, he should go back to the BBC with his tail between his legs. hopefully he didn't burn too many bridges!
