Surfing the net with noscript is like having sex with a chastity belt.

Maybe for the first hour of using it..... all my 'trusted' sites have no problem. You're clearly using Noscript wrong if it causes issues for your browsing.

Why make yourself jump through hoops just to protect from a relatively low risk of malware? Holes in browsers and OS/s are much more likely to be the cause of malware. BTW, Opera has a feature that I think every browser should have (they have a couple but I digress). It has the option to disable js under every prompt.

I am intrigued by your safe porn surfing suggestions and would like to hear moar please, possibly subscribe to newsletter. Very relevant to my interests.

Hmm...well I also use Avira Antivir and do regular MalwareBytes scans. Plus I pretty much keep to the "tube" sites (Youporn, Tube8, YouJizz, Redtube).

Though if I venture elsewhere, Firefox is excellent at detecting compromised websites, so I haven't had a problem for months at least.

Go forth and surf safely on the porno seas my fellow seaman! :awe:

You can disable Javascript completely in FF as well. Noscript does far more than preventing some malware, it makes it so sites can't fuck with my browser period. As far as jumping through hoops... not sure what you're talking about there, I don't even notice that Noscript is running.

On the off chance that I visit a poorly coded site that doesn't work it's trivial to disable Noscript temporarily, but more often then not if a site doesn't function at all without javascript then it's probably not even worth going there.

Not quite what I mean, in Opera, you leave js on by default then if a site decides to spam you, you can choose to check disable js on the prompt and it will stop right there. Flash, java, activeX, and divx are far worse than js.

This. especially when the site needs js from 8 fucking domains to work. Piss on that, I'll watch it on youtube.

I've never used Noscript and I'l never picked up malware from a website.

Wait 'till your voice begins to drop and you start to have "urges." You'll put those Power Ranger action figures away and never look back, little Mikey! :awe:

That's more work than Noscript, I don't get it. So I have to go to every site BEFORE I can disable Javascript? What problem does that solve, if the site has malicious Javascript on it you're already fucked before you can even stop it!

You really do live up to your name.

Malware? Does that come in small, medium, large, x-large, and XX-large? It seems to come in XXX-large with no problems.
