who makes tdks these days? still TY or did they crap out to CMC/ritek like everyone else?

Some are CMC, some are ritek-look at the cakebox. If I recall correctly, the spindle with the raised lip on top is CMC, the rounded tops are ritek. For example, if you go to BB's link in the first posting, I those discs are in a CMC type spindle.

I got a bunch of these from Staples two weeks ago when they were $2/50 (after rebate). The CMCs were trash for audio discs-50% of my burns have rasping noises towards the end. I think I'll stick with TY discs. In another forum, someone posted that BB has the Fuji (TY) 50 CDR spindles on sale this week for $12.99-I haven't been able to confirm this. Remember if you go for the Fujis, only the Made In Japan ones are TY.
