Most (not all) of the games you'd want to play on a PS3 are also available for the 360 anyway.

Is Buy.com still handing out 12% off & $1 shipping deals? That's how I picked up my 360.

PS3's in my local Walmarts (one regular, other super center) Best Buy, EB, GameStop and Target are all regular sights. I got up early hoping to find a Wii in BB today. They had PS3's left over from last year still. Ironicly, people where circling the Wii isle like a bunch of freakin' SHARKS. I'm seriously getting pissed at Nintendo for not cranking out more units. I have yet to see a single Wii anywhere.

I was in two different stores today and saw plenty of PS3s at both places. Maybe people just don't like the PS3 here. In other news I couldn't find a damn Wii.

ps3s are everywhere, if you can't find one in a store you can find one on craigslist for retail price or maybe $20 over, thing is no one really wants them, until Sony comes out with some good games, then they will start selling.

I went back after Christmas and they still had more than half of them sitting in the same cage.

Went to BB on Monday and there was a stack of 20+ sitting there and no one was touching them. Meanwhile just in passing glance I saw 2 or 3 360's get nabbed.

I don't think it's so much of "the shortage is over" as much as people realizing that at the moment the PS3 just isn't as big of a deal as it was hyped up to be.

BTW my boss said that they had Wii's out the wazoo last week at a local BB here in Alabama.

Ive seen PS3s in all 3 places that I have went to.....when looking for the ellusive Wii. No Wii to be found though.
