Bestbuy.com is already doing the non-doorbuster items for sale. Can pick up Orange box @ $25 among some other games. Would recommend you hurry as it won't last most likely.

I ordered the thing just as it went out of stock. Now I got an email from BB saying it's backordered. One of the options it gave me though was to go to a local store that had it and show them the order. Would I still get it for $25 even though it's a online only deal?

You might be able to use a copy of a $5 off any PC game Gamepro coupon or a general 10% off coupon for it. I used the 10% off with my purchase of the UT3 Collector's Edition. I thought about going to get it, but I'm pretty sure that I'll be more than engrossed and involved with UT3 (playing on public servers, playing PUG matches, building and managing a clan, and making custom CTF maps).

The orange box was not an online deal. It is on sale at the store today and tomorrow for $25 (if they have it in stock - not sure if htey issue rain checks). (I.e, it was also not a morning only thing).

cinematic mod adds difficulty, sounds, and higher res textures (to HL2 at least, not sure about EP1, EP2, etc.). i really enjoyed the extra difficulty.

I picked up the Orange Box... and none of the games in it run for me. Any of my previous steam games work fine, but any of the orange box specific titles get to the loading screen, but then minimize to the taskbar and quit shortly after. Apparently a lot of people are having this issues on valve's forums but there's no resolution yet =/. In any case, $25 was too hard to pass up the box for. Hopefully I get to play it at some point so that it's $25 well spent

I had the same problem. I just updated all my drivers and reinstalled dx 8.
