For those that don't think the title says it all.. :p

BB is matching the CUSA 149 price by offering a $50 MIR. Pricematch BB to CUSA, throw in rebate and your price is then 94.99+tax.

Excellent price. Here's my take on it. BB has been doing this recently to pre-emptively PM CUSA. Its been happening a lot lately, the 100MB WD's, the 120MB Maxtors, the Radeon 9700pro, the GF4 Ti4600, the Audigy 2 etc. Basically, BB PM's the IR or AR advertised CUSA price. If there happens to be a concurrent rebate, that pops out as well. So essentially, if you caught a product that also had a rebate on it, you would be "double-dipping".

Hope that clears things up a bit.

(sarcasm) Wow... since when did BB started selling 100MB and 120MB HDDs? HOLY COW! I can store like 30 Mp3 in one of those! hehe (/sarcasm)

Yeah, it's happening alot recently, and it's a good thing. I scored one of those 60 GB WD HDDs for $30 AR + tax.

D'oh! Musta had a circa 1990 flashback...those 100MB drives were monsters back then :p ;)

Anyways, those coupons can be found in various mags, search "BB Coupon" or check out f@twallet.com for a listing. I've gotten them in Maxim, SI, and I believe there are $10 off $50's in Spin or something like that. Also, make sure when checking out they ring as 10%, not $10 off (unless of course your purchase price is between $50 and $100, then you'll prefer the $10 flat :) )

Well I have a tag that says 199.99-50.00MIR=149.99!

Definantly YMMV but for several/most of us my way will probably be more common.

Strange....I would scan this tag for you, but my scanner is broke. If anyone would like a fax of it, i would be glad to fax it to you.

i just took a trip down to BB with my roommate to pick up these speakers... when they called compusa to price match, compusa told them it was $99 without any rebates, so he got them for $49+plus tax AR:Q:)YMMV

man u lucked out..... are u sure they didn't pm the z640?? that's 99 on the compusa website.
i'm so envious :(

my 2.1 system is jacked up since my monitor isn't in front of me and lack of space

a 4.1 would be cool even if the speakers are on the ground. hehe

the BB cashier specifically asked them for the price on the "logitech z560 5 piece speakers" and they told him $99. his manager told him to call back and verify that it was $99 without rebates, which he did, and even gave it to a 2nd cashier to verify to his manager:)

i picked these up for $144.99. i also have a $50 rebate to send in, not bad for $94.99. that crapusa employee must be a ditz, that was obviously a very lucky mistake on your part.

Good deal, can't believe I'm just now catching this. I got the z640s for the PS2 a couple of weeks back for $50 AR, but I've been holding out for a good deal on some THX speakers.

If your motherboard supports 5.1 speakers and you add a 4.1 setup, are you losing out on anything? I mean should I use the gaming console adapter that came with the z640s, hook the z560s up to the PS2, and then switch the z640s over to the PC?
