BB / CC gift cards

I have $40 in BB gift cards, and $50 in CC. Anyone have experience in buying an item with the gift card, not opening it, and then returning it for cash back? I'd like to have the $90 total at one store to buy a more expensive item.

nope not going to happen. Though if you do it now many places do not check receipts.

IF you have to turn in the reciept you will get gift cards back.

Sell the GC at .90 - .95 on the dollar. It's easier, and you get most of the money out of it.

refunds are always returned to you in the method you paid for it.

unless it's past 30 days, then you're screwed.

and if its a check or cash purchases over a certain amount.
