Baylor is destroying Kansas State...

Wow, KST just had 4 downs from the 6 yard line and could not score. WTF, this is supposed to be the #2 team in the country? I am not a Baylor fan but several of my family members went there, so I wave a bear claw in their honor.

And now BU is doing a good job of running down the clock while still moving the ball way more effectively than they should be able to against the #2 team in the nation. Looks like this one's over.

yep, only one undefeated team left ( Ohio St is second, but they are banned this year from post season). Alabama probably 2nd. They will need to win SEC championship game to stay there.
 
Assuming Bama and Georgia both win next weekend then the winner of the SEC championship game is pretty much assured to be in the BCS title game.
 
Sports media needs to stop acting insanely surprised/shocked when a number 1 or 2 team goes down. Relax. It happens all the friggin time. I'll grant them that both 1 AND 2 went down this weekend, but still, take it down a notch. Notre Dame vs Bama in the BCS title game? That would be sad, ND would probably get hammered.

Why do we have to wait another 2 years for the 4 game playoff 🙁

In local news: Rich Rod wins 7 games in first year here at Arizona. Pretty damn impressive. Team was projected to win 3 games this year.

I disagree with Notre Dame getting hammered. They have a great defense and Alabama, while I think still is the best team in the country is beatable, very beatable.
 
God I hope Bama doesn't go back to the Championship Game. I think a good case can be made for Oregon to go.

Alabama got beat by the #14 team, at home, in regulation, by 5 points, and were dominated in the first quarter. They were down 0-20 at the most; never held the lead; and were never even tied with A&M.

Oregon got beat by the #15 team, at home, in overtime, by 3 points, and were locked in a tight game in which they were never down by more than 7. The game was tied, or Oregon was ahead, for much of the game. Stanford only came back to tie it with 1:35 left in the 4th quarter. The OT and the game came down to 2 field goal attempts, one good, one bad.

Those are the losses for Alabama and for Oregon. The Alabama loss looks like a much worse loss in my eyes. You couldn't come any closer for the rankings of the opponents, #15 and #14.
