This may not be news to any of you, but for the people that had to rely on online distributors like thinkgeek.com due to the lack of local distributors, you may have an alternate solution. CompUSA has been carrying Bawls Guarana for quite some time in my area (Chicago burbs). It's just a 12 pack for 17.99, but they don't charge tax. It sure beats paying for shipping. YMMV
 
I saw some at the Bellevue, WA CompUSA. Never tried the stuff. I thought it was odd that CompUSA was carrying it.

Its probably distro'd through PCToys, which basically re-badges OEM geek toys you'd find on the internet. If you go to a CUSA and go to the case modding/case/DIY section you'll know what I'm talkin about. By the way, is $299 for an Asus A7V333 a good deal??? 😉

To narrow the scope of that ratio, you should see the aisle of "adult" DVD's that the Sacramento Fry's has.....Serious numbers of virgins - all male!

I always thought this stuff was pretty good.... but then I'm also the guy that has drank 10 Red Bull in 2 hours.... go figure 😉
 
While in Brazil I got hooked on Antarctica Guarana. It outsells all softdrinks in Brazil, including Coke. I had found one place out of Miami called DeliBrazil that sold Antarctica Guarana, but they closed. Anybody know of any place else? This week I received an email from Sendexnet.com but thought it was spam until I saw they also sold Antarctica Guarana, so maybe they bought DeliBrazil. Here is a link to their Guarana page: Antarctica Guarana Have fun with the site. It is in Portugese but has an English version, though it has some bugs in the code.

Guarana tastes like a cross between Sprite and Apple Juice, but less sweet and more refreshing. Does Bawls taste like Guarana?

Update: Just called Sendexnet and they bought out DeliBrazil. They limit the amout of canned drinks you can order because shipping is free on orders over $30 and drinks are heavy, but if you call them and are not too far away, (they ship from Seattle and Miami, ) then they will let you order more than $30 worth if you agree to pay shipping. With shipping it is about $1 a can. I was paying $3 shipped for 2 litre bottles from DeliBrazil for Antarctica Guarana. Wish I could still get that deal...

While I do confess I'm a nerd I'm blessed with a really hot girlfriend. (why she likes ME, who knows.) Anyhoo when she comes out to Fry's with me it's a weird circus act, it's as if it gives them hope. (If some nerd here dates her, there's hope for me...) 🙂 She was looking through the girlie magazines out of boredom and the nerds there were uncertain of what to do- continue their mental mastrubation with that months periodical or strike up a conversation (I wonder if she codes? Is she user friendly? Windows or Linux?) Hehe...
