Battlestar Galactica Season 3 Episode 4 (oops) Is On TONIGHT!!!

I am about to watch it again via Tivo. BSG is the best show on the tube for going on three seasons now.

 
So what are they gonna do now, search for Earth ?

is Baltar a cylon ? guess he's off with them now. I saw some upcoming season 3 preview things where he was asking caprica six if he was indeed a cylon

also any of yall ever played Homeworld 2 ? the space battle scenes in BSG often remind me heavily of that game, esp. tonites episodes with the deployed drones and bay ships coming from behind the planet, etc
 
I just loved that episode, actually im watching the scene with galactica falling into the planet again as I speak, freaking nuts!
 
Yes that was a fracking awsome episode.

I watched this episode like 3 times now. Anyway the bit where you think Galactica is going to buy it and the 4 basestars are kicking some ass. The music in the background I swear is from a Firefly episode or Serenity. Of course the following sequence of genius shots where you slowly see Pegasus's firing rockets is awsome. Of course Galactica falling through the sky was pretty dang cool.

Anyone else have this brooding feeling that Gatta should have killed Baltar?

Of course the way the writers use symbolism to show so many aspects of the show is so cool! Where Lee got fat in these last few episodes (check out the video blog on SciFi if you haven't seen this on more), and the very end where Adama shaves off his mustache.

I just saw the torrent. WOW. Like everyone said, Galactica jumping INTO the atmosphere, falling like a red hot cinder while launching Vipers, and then jumping back into space before she hit the ground was absolutely jaw dropping. Talk about creativity!

Admiral Adama is going to go down in history as being one of the best TV show military commanders EVER.

I'm a little worried though... an entire Battlestar destroyed is a huge loss...
 
2 things: am I nuts, or did Ty give his wife something to make her sleep permanently, or was he just morning what she did to help him, while she fell asleep on the cot?

Also, I thought the part right AFTER Adama shaved off the moustache, and walked into the hallway, and looked left and right and smiled , kind of saying " it's great to see my people back where they belong", was great..................

Ty poisoned his wife.

I also love that scene where the four Cylon ships are pounding the Galactica, then outside of the camera frame you see a few rockets moving in... and hitting one of the Cylon ships. When I first saw that scene I was like "oh, it's another rocket heading towards the Galactica" and then "wait, no it's not" and finally "WOOHOO!!!"

I'm kinda glad they killed off the pegasus.

having all the major characters spread across two different ships was kind of distracting for me.
 
Wow yeah now i can truly talk about it... such an amazing rescue...
That whole Galactica jumping into atmo and launching vipers and then jumping away was amazing. Them Pegasus comes to the rescue but gets destroyed that was sad.
Col. Tigh killing his wife wow that was harsh but nessesary. Cap. Kara "Starbuck" Thrace was soo tricked by the Cylons looks like she is going to have some issues.
I wonder what will happen with the ranking system now. Does Commander Lee Adama go back to being a Major?

So many questions...
 
Poor Saul 🙁 Adama really felt for him in the end. That guy has too much pain. They need to lighten him up a bit. I wonder if they're going to fix his eye?
 
apollo looks weird yea but ig uess its also because they probably wouldn't have a tailor on board to adjust his uniform😉

but yea, fat suit, that level of fat so quick would be health hazard

Haha i was wondering that. what does people in power like Adama and Roslin do when they are horny? Or do they have so much responsibility that sex not concern them?
 
Enjoy it while it lasts.
Ratings are nowhere near what they need to be to continue such an expensive series.
Scifi goofed badly by showing the first two essentially disapointing espisodes which drove off many new viewers, then showed the episode that cost a season worth of special effect dollars.
While this season is safe, at best a shortened, special effects limited next season is the only possibility.
Just long enought to get Caprica launched.
btw don't expect Caprica to have many special effects. It is basically a drama series.
The real hope, and it is realistic, is a big budget theatrical release.
