It's not your fault, motoamd, for a program crashing. If you didn't make the proggy, no big deal. If you did make the proggy, go fix it! 😀 I love this game and would love to have a stable version.

I just hate posting something that doesn't work very well. I wish I could program something like that! I hate programming and I'm trying to learn to do Visual Basic in my school class. Oh, machine level programming too, grrr.

You're learning machine language!? Holy ...

Uh, anyway... it's not like we're blaming you for the proggy crashing. 🙂 It's okay. Maybe there's some sort of timeout that happens when too many people interact with the server and then hicups and gives current running games a problem (if they interact with the server through out the game) or something.

There's always an explanation. So don't take it so hard. If anything, I'm happy that I found it. It's provided hours of distraction here at work. 🙂

Yeah, finally beat it! 1-6 and it didn't crash.

Looks like they got a Hall of Fame

EDIT:

Crashing problems fix? linky
It says:

SUBJECT:
"Occasional Game freezes".

Some of our fellow sailors have been reporting occasional game freezes.

These game freezes seem to occur when you fire shots 'to quickly'. Due to the complex calculations the game makes every shot, it needs a little time to process it's data (depending on your computers performance).

The most simple solution to this problem is to slow down your shelling and restrain your eagerness to destroy our enemy.

Keep the following in mind;

Wait for the enemy to complete his turn.
Wait for pop-up displays to collapse after expanding.
Our technical staff is aware of this problem and is working hard to solve this issue.
