I'm not trying to be a thread crapper, but those headphones suck. They look like the 20 dollar Logitech?s, but are not made the same (noticeably lighter). Shortly after buying UT2004 and getting these same headphones they quickly fell apart. The 20 dollar ones I've had since December and are still working great. The price for the game though 37 bux is probably the lowest pre order I've seen. I personally am going to wait till it comes out before i buy.

Just jumped on this one. Can anyone tell me if the pictured headset is the actual one which will ship with the offer? It looks like the Logitech Internet Chat Headset which retails for $24.95 but the offer does not give anything specific other than the pic.

Meh. I've always just bought the game from either BB or CC the day it comes out. I'll pay the extra $13 to have it in my hands the day it comes out.

Totally looking forward to this game. If you've played Planetside on your rig and it is stable, chances are BF2 will do nicely for you. Anyone here going to compete on ladders at all when it comes out?

I'm in. I seem to kill a headset every two months or so. That's how long the one that came with UT2K4 lasted.

Me too, I bought BF1942 and had to wait nearly 6 months before I could play it because of my 9700 pro video card.

I've had the Logitech Internet Chat Headset for at least 6 months or so, and it's a pretty good headset. It's fairly sturdy too (I've had it fall off my desk a number of times). Has interchangeable "earplates" also. I picked up mine for about $14 at walmart at the time.

Edit: Here you can get the logitech headset i'm talking about for $13 with free shipping.
