Battlefield2 Demo says the Server is refusing my connection?? Whenever I try to log onto my account??

I am trying to get on my online account in the Battlefield2 demo. It keeps saying that the server has refused my connection. Anyone else having this problem or know why this is happening?? Thanks for any info.

I am getting it also, took 5 times before i was able to get in. Something wrong with the server.

Yes, just tried it again, took 8 times and got that same error each time but i got in on the 9th.

Read some about this on BF2 forums. seems the servers were down, one can hope that it was for a good reason. A lot of us are experancing lost points and metals awards whaotnot.

I had the same problems, with the account server refusing my connection. I could usually get in by trying a couple more times.
2 nights ago, my points and medals were all screwed up.. as in I had no rank, no medals, and a bazillion points, but nothing whatsoever to show for it. The next day things were back to normal, with my current rank, points, medals, etc.

I think that Gamespy is trying to set up a separate server to handle all the queries for stats that are coming from 3rd party web sites and tracking programs. Apparently, some of these were bogging down the main server. Or, so I've heard.
