I am downloading it now. I have only played this game twice since buying it on release. The frame rates were horrible and the game was just buggy as all can be. I concur. Problems like that are because of his machine, not the game.

I hardly believe I have a crap machine. Athlon 2500+, 1GB RAM and an ATI 9700. I still have to run the game at 800x600. Supposedly it is a bug with ATi cards but seeing how they have no fixed this yet really makes me wonder if half of DICE needs to be fired. RSC2 plays and looks just great but both BF1942 and Vietnam were terrible at release. Hope another team is working on Battlefield 2 but it is not very likely.

runs fine on my 2500 with 1gb of ram and a 9800 nonpro AND an 8500

sounds like you have something else wrong

Maybe it's me, but the mouse seems messed up in the game. I can't aim at anything.
