i'll say it again, dice should just stick to making a deeper MP mode instead of having a SP mode at all. suddenly they want to be like COD series, but BF has always been about MP for me.

plus it wasn't as well executed storyline as MW2, and with so many cinematics/cutscenes, you felt more bothered by them

I beat BC2 SP a month ago, and I feel it was just OK as well.

I'll say this though, BC2 SP is by far better than BC1 SP. That said, BC2's story was coherent enough to be enjoyable, but honestly it's just missing something. MW1 and MW2 have that shock factor in their SP campaigns that make them enjoyable as well, but their story is nowhere near as coherent.

Well I played maybe 4 or 5 hours of the SP and I still have no clue whatsoever what the story is. It just feels like some completely unrelated gameplay sections to me. You have the ok now snipe those 3 guys but time yourself with the lightning part. Then its the fight the boat with the rpg part, etc. Really its like they tried to come up with as many ideas as they could implement in the game and used each of them once and connected them with some run and gun sections. Then they came up with some random story after all the levels were done to tie up the completely unrelated maps together.

Now don't get me wrong. The graphics are nice and the shooting feels good. The different bits of gameplay are all done well enough to work within the game. But to me it feels more like the school project that you split the work with your 3 teammates and threw together at the last second than something that is coherant with itself the whole way through.

I bought during the EAStore $20 deal. I rushed through the SP campaign after getting stomped in MP a few times. I wanted to play with the guns and get a feel for the game, as I didn't play BC1.

SP was a fun tutorial to get to the MP meat. :)

I don't buy a game UNLESS it is MP. In fact, did not even know BC2 had single player till you mentioned it.
