The fact that it was already optimized for Eyefinity/Surround was a huge surpise for me.. menus and UIs are perfect nothing is stretched it is just perfect..

FOV looks perfect in Eyefinity

I can try to get some screens when I get home tonight..
not sure what to use to properly capture Eyefinity ress's though..

BTW I dunno if it was just the server I was on or what.. but can they turn off "spotting" and the little arrows that designate a hostile?
on the server I was on there was no spotting and targets were not being shown.

made it very hard to tell enemy from friendly as the skins look very similar specially at distance.

It was in beta and alpha so just wondering if a server admin can turn that off and on.

makes sense.. yah I was a bit overwhelmed there.. I'm not good or sharp enough anymore to hang with those guys..

yeh spotting was not working at all on that server that makes sense..

will have to really look for that server flag from now on.

Yes, it looks pretty good BUT it doesn't look like the videos. THat's all I'm saying.

What resolution are you playing at and how big is your monitor? It looks epic to me (esp when we were flying over some of the conquest maps with ZERO hiccups.

and what card... DX11 is required for ALL the bells and whistles..

and SLI/Crossfire is pretty much being said to be the ONLY way to max it out.

This game is tough as balls. I am getting scores like 2-8 🙁 At least the team I was on was good.

Some questions:

1. Does anyone have any good keybindings that work for them? No need to mention the standard/default setup. Just anything unique to you that you found works better. For example: binding melee to a third mouse button or swapping the run and crouch keys. I have to say that I am fan of FPS on PC with keyboard and mouse but years of playing Modern Warfare on the 360 and I feel way more comfortable. For one, having more keys on PC is a blessing and a course. 101 keys for you to fumble around with and forget. Oh, I need to throw a grenade. Is that G or B or K? Or wait, I can equip it with .... 7?

2. Is there a way to show (team) chat without sending a message? Each time you send a message (start by pressing K), it brings up the team chat but disappears after a few seconds.

3. Any tips/tricks for flying copters and jets? I last about 10 seconds before crashing. Are you guys using all keyboard or keyboard + mouse?

Not much has changed since the beta.

We still have the web game browser (which sucks)

Graphics are NOTHING like the videos (same as beta)

It runs smooth, I'm getting 60fps...but it BETTER run smooth as the game is little better looking than BC2. And by little I mean VERY LITTLE.

You are running directx 10 cards. There is no way you can have every feature enabled. As you need a DX11 card in order to do so.

/1 i use defaults with just a few mods... I bind my Razer naga MMO to all the most needed stuff.

/2 not sure I ignore that crap any way.. 99% of the time it's only people calling eatch other cheaters and other nastyness.

/3 use a external joystick.

Has anyone figured out how to use the coax LMG and thermal optics on the IFV or the zoom optics on the tanks? I've literally pressed all of my hotkeys and none of them activate those unlocks.

holy crap..
Crossfire 6950 2gigs running on ULTRA in Eyefinity and the graphics blew me away.. this does NOT look like the beta at all..

I think they must have certain levels of detail cut off to average systems.

runs super smooth at 5023x1020 for me.. and everything is looking amazing..

better than the promo vids..

What version of video card drivers are you using (11.10 beta or 11.9)?

I've got the same video card setup, but couldn't get the game to start this morning. I kept getting a DirectX Renderer ResizeTarget error message whenever trying to get into a game (campaign or multiplayer).

Hmm, the beta looked better on my computer than many of the game play videos I saw. I was running at 1920x1080 on my 5850 with just about everything on, at least that it let me turn on. Should be better when I throw in a second 5850 in a couple weeks. I don't know how processor intensive the game is but my i5 760 is running at a mild 3.7 ghz and I have 12gb ddr3.

Not sure what your referring to. The game looks just as good as any video I have ever seen, since the videos are taken from in game footage. Of course those videos are the game running on ultra so it's probably not going to look the same on your machine if you're running dx10 med/high.

BTW.. I played the beta and alpha on GTX 460s in SLI.. and I agree they did not look that good..

however.. on my single GTX 580 the game looked great..

and now on my Eyefinity setup which is 2x 2gb 6950s it looks even better..

Two annoying points for me so far...

I have played about 5 hours and just started to settle in with the controls and make adjustments...

Can anyone else remap the vehicle controls (seat position) away from F1..Fx?

I tried to remap to my mouse buttons 3 and 4 but it would not register...worked in BF2...

for reference I was trying to map the driving seat and the gun.

Second and I am not sure if this is just me or the game...

A round will end...go through the ending credits...then screen goes black...nothing...until I kill the game and restart...

Everything is perfect except for the two sensitivity options. That shit bugs the hell out of me.
