Battlefield 3 "kicked by punkbuster"

For the first time since playing BF3 since it's release, I started experiencing kicks due to punkbuster. I had two error messages:

Game disconnected: you were kicked by PunkBuster. Stated reason: PunkBuster kicked player 'MyPlayer' (for 2 minutes) ... Violation (IGNORING QUERIES) #9006

and

Game disconnected: you were kicked by PunkBuster. Stated reason: PunkBuster kicked player 'MyPlayer' (for 2 minutes) ... Ignoring MD5Tool Queries

I tried manually updating PB. I also downloaded the setup, added BF3 to it and selected "update". Still no go, and I keep getting kicked after a few minutes of play. What else can I try?

After a bunch of manual updating, etc...it looks like a reboot fixed the issue. Time will tell (tonight) if it's working with Karkland.

i just read this, i came here to say reboot your pc..sometimes Punkbuster fizzles out...dont ask me why lol

Punkbuster sometimes kicks out people who spell Karkand "Karkland"...

usually if I get these errors, I just quit the browser, and re open it..fixed.
